Denise Marjarum is the Director of Learning Services at Mount St. Mary’s University, where she has dedicated the past 25 years to helping students find their place, recognize their strengths, and succeed in college. Her work spans academic support, disability and accessibility services, student transition, and individualized student success initiatives. Denise is passionate about creating environments where students feel seen, supported, and connected—and where they know that they belong. She believes that a sense of belonging can transform a student’s college experience and that sometimes one meaningful connection can make all the difference.
