Jack Dincher is the Mechatronics Instructor at Pennsylvania College of Technology. A former dual journeyman, process engineer, and past president of his local United Steelworkers union, Mr. Dincher earned both his AAS in Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology (Robotics & Automation emphasis) and his BS in Applied Management from Penn College.

Following his early career as a factory janitor and production operator in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he worked as a journeyman industrial mechanic, electrician, and maintenance supervisor. He spent 16 years at the Lonza chemical facility in Williamsport, transitioning into process engineering with a focus on specialty chemicals and manufacturing optimization.

Mr. Dincher joined the college faculty in 2023. Working in close collaboration with his departmental colleagues, he has helped completely reshape the mechatronics curriculum. Together, the faculty team has conducted more than a dozen comprehensive industry tours to align classroom instruction with modern manufacturing environments. An industry-tested educator, Mr. Dincher is dedicated to showing the next generation that technical education is both rewarding and engaging. He resides in Williamsport with his wife, Caterina, and their four children
