Julie Rasmuson is the Director of Student Accessibility Services at York College of Pennsylvania and has more than 25 years of experience as a disability services professional, consultant, speaker, and advocate. Her work focuses on disability equity, accessibility, student success, policy development, and systems change across education and community settings. Julie has extensive experience in inclusive practices, education, transition services, and workforce development for individuals with disabilities. As a disability self-advocate, nonprofit leader, and parent of two disabled young adults, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work advancing access and inclusion for all. Julie’s additional current passion projects include serving as a professional disability expert on both the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Wendy Klag Center for Autism and Developmental Disability Office of Community Engaged Research Community Advisory Board and the 2026 United Way National ALICE Focus on People with Disabilities Leadership Committee as well as holding the position of Autism York, President of the Board.
