Breakout Session Topic: The Whole Student: Time & Space – Best of Both Worlds for Hybrid Cohorts
Michael Miller has been with Muhlenberg since October 2019 and previously served as the Associate Dean of Accelerated Programs in Graduate in Continuing Education. Prior to coming to Muhlenberg, Mike served as Dean of the Business, Technologies, and Health Sciences division at Surry Community College in Dobson, NC, for 10 years. He was responsible for the overall quality and strategic planning for the division. He has extensive experience in new program initiatives and faculty development. Prior to that, Mike was the Assistant Dean of Business and Technology at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA for 9 years. While at Northampton he provided leadership for curriculum development and delivery of 40 programs and was responsible for hiring, scheduling, supporting, and evaluating adjunct faculty. Part of his responsibilities involved being the self-study coordinator for reaccreditation of business programs and being a site evaluator for ACBSP. Mike was also co-chair of the Educational Offerings Committee for Middle States reaccreditation and was nominated for the Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award. Mike has taught business courses for 20+ years in the classroom and online. He holds a BA in Business Administration and General Management and an MBA from DeSales University and a EdD from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
