Morgan State University, Assistant Vice President and Dean for the College of Interdisciplinary and Continuing Studies
Nicole Westrick leads the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies which has been supporting adult learners for 60 years, through scholarships and wraparound services, with generous support from the Newcombe foundation and other funders. The College is also home to 18 interdisciplinary degree programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral level that provide paths to graduation for students with some college and no degree. The College is also responsible for Morgan Online, which supports online program and course development for the university. Dr. Westrick is a committed lifelong learner who earned her master’s, graduate certificate, and PhD while working full-time. Dr. Westrick holds a BA in Theater and Communication from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, an MPM in public management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Skilled Facilitator graduate certificate from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Media and Communication from Temple University.
